22 miles. One leg. Two crutches. No prosthetic.

EVERYONE HAS A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB.

This is Dana Albrycht's next one: building a movement of people with disabilities who lead, compete, create, and lift each other up. We're starting from the bottom of the trail, and we're bringing a camera.

DOCUMENT THE JOURNEY. DON'T MANUFACTURE IT.

We're filming this from day one: the first practices, the first pitches, the setbacks, the small wins, and the people who show up. No staged highlight reel. Just the real climb, as it happens.

In development: episodes and series will be published as they're filmed.

Meet Dana

Dana Albrycht was born with a congenital right-leg difference and had an above-knee amputation as an infant. He's been finding his own way up ever since.

He swam for the United States at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games. He ran the 2008 New York City Marathon on crutches in 6:27:18, a time reported at the time as a world record for a marathon on crutches (pending final verification). And in September 2020 he crossed the 22-mile Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire's White Mountains on crutches, without a prosthetic.

He has also spent years as a professional counselor and an advocate. What he cares about most isn't the records. It's the people: helping others discover what they're capable of.

Dates, records and awards are being verified with Dana before publishing.

INDEPENDENCE THROUGH INNOVATION.

Some of the best ideas come from people who live with the problem every day. Early concepts include forearm crutches and canes that can pick things up, and AI-powered disability support tools down the road.

These are concepts in development, not products for sale.

Everyone Has a Mountain Foundation

A separate, proposed nonprofit initiative. It's planning a Greater Hartford adaptive sports and community center and accessible family getaways.

The Foundation is planned as a legally separate organization from Crutch Walker LLC. It is not yet operating and does not accept donations.
